Our Founder

Meet our Founder, an accomplished clinical academic who matches best and current evidence to improve patient/client health care outcomes. With a PhD in Nursing from the University of Alberta, Canada, and a Newborn Care Specialist Certification from the USA, our expert health care provider works collaboratively with health care professionals, families and key stakeholders with a focus on quality care delivery. With over 26 years’ experience in maternal newborn health care, she has accumulated wealth of experience across the African region and international contexts which have won her honorary memberships.

At Newborn Wellness and Care Consortium, our story is deeply rooted in our passion for nurturing newborns and empowering families. We've dedicated ourselves to a mission that revolves around the care and well-being of these precious little ones.

Our organization is led by a dedicated Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Ghana. With 18 years of experience in neonatal healthcare and education, including a PhD in Nursing and Newborn Care Specialist Certification, our founder’s expertise forms the cornerstone of our services.

Our services encompass a holistic approach, including breastfeeding support, maternal nutrition monitoring, and education on simultaneous and sequential breast expression. We specialize in umbilical cord care, newborn skin care, developmental care, and weight monitoring. Our dedication extends to health education, product supply, and seamless coordination with health facilities and social protection networks.
